"The Celebrity Apprentice" has had a new winner and it couldn't be more right. Leeza Gibbons won over Geraldo Rivera in the season 7 finale which saw them filming commercials for Universal Orlando Resort and selling vacation packages.
Before a presentation in New York City, Ian Ziering talked about what Geraldo was like as a leader. "Geraldo's like a cold wind - you kind of have to shelter yourself at first because it's snappy," the actor said. Indeed, the journalist had a "my way or the highway" method in leading his team.
In contrary, Leeza applied an open approach and she was respected by her team members. She also managed to have Olivia Newton-John to sing at her team's presentation.
In the end, Leeza raised $324,000, much more than Geraldo's $146,000, for her charity, Leeza's Care Connection that helps families dealing with a loved one with Alzheimer's. Donald Trump even praised her for leading with kindness.
Also during the finale, Mr. Trump revealed that NBC had renewed the show for another season.
