Music

Just a few days after reports emerged that he's suing Cash Money over the delay of 'Tha Carter V', the rapper announces that another album will be 'komin soon.'

While his long-awaited "Tha Carter V" is still delayed by Cash Money Records, Lil Wayne is now readying another album. The rapper announced on Twitter on Thursday, February 5 that he'd be releasing "The Free Weezy Album" soon.

"The Free Weezy Album...komin soon#FWA," he wrote and added in a separate tweet, "Free album. Free Weezy season. The Free Weezy Album. #FWA." Other details on the new project are currently still kept under tight wraps.

"Tha Carter V" was originally planned to arrive in December before Wayne said the album was pushed back indefinitely. He blamed Cash Money and its boss Birdman for the delay. He then expressed his desire to leave the label and eventually sued them for $51 million late last month.

To keep his fans entertained, Tunechi recently dropped "Sorry 4 the Wait 2" mixtape. The set came two weeks ago as a follow-up to "Sorry 4 the Wait" that came out back in 2011 following numerous "Tha Carter IV" push-backs.
