FOX has set the date for the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards. The annual prize-giving event, which was held on a Monday evening in late August last year, is back to its old slot, being scheduled for Sunday, September 20.

The ceremony would be held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. in downtown Los Angeles and air live starting at 8 P.M. ET/5 P.M. PT, the network and Television Academy announced on Wednesday, February 4. Meanwhile, the annual Creative Arts Emmy Awards will be held Saturday, September 12 and airing on FXX on a date to be announced.

Last year, NBC moved Emmy Awards to Monday to avoid a conflict with Sunday Night Football. At the time, it was also reported that NBC originally eyed August 24 as the date for Emmys, but MTV Video Music Awards had been long set to air on the same date.

Host and producers for this year's Primetime Emmy Awards have not been announced yet.
