The actress who plays Caroline Spencer Forrester suffers broken legs and has to undergo surgery after a car struck her in Los Angeles.

AceShowbiz - Linsey Godfrey was struck by a car while strolling through the street in Los Angeles on Monday, February 2. A car collided with another vehicle before veering onto the sidewalk and hitting the "The Bold and the Beautiful" star, leaving her with broken legs.
The 26-year-old actress was rushed to hospital. Her spokesperson later told PEOPLE that her injuries were limited to her ankles. She is expected to make a full recovery after undergoing surgery. "She is going to be ok," her fiance Robert Adamson tweeted.
"Thank you," he addressed fans and friends for their support. "Already charming her Dr's and Nurses. She's been through worse than this and she'll be back on her feet before we all know it. She's the best girl and the best momma, and soon this will all be a distant memory."
Linsey Godfrey was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2006 and successfully completed treatment. She welcomed a baby girl, Aleda Seren Adamson, last year. It's her first child with Adamson who stars on "The Young and the Restless".
In the wake of the terrible car accident, co-star Katherine Kelly Lang who wrote, "Sending good thoughts and prayers and healing energy to @linseygodfrey !! I hope surgery goes well & hope to see u back at work very soon." Castmate Adam Gregory also tweeted, "Please keep @linseygodfrey and her family in your prayers : (."
Prayers also came from fellow soap stars like Kelly Kruger wrote, "Hey everyone. @linseygodfrey is going to be okay. She is strongest person I know & has all the Drs laughing w her usual hysterical self." Jacob W. Young also tweeted, "Please send prayers to @linseygodfrey she is strong and a fighter, but all good thoughts/ prayers will help!"
According to PEOPLE, Godfrey has a "major story arc right now" on the long-running "Bold and the Beautiful". Following her hospitalization, producers have rescheduled filming.
