NBCUniversal is offering an 11-hour free digital video stream centering around live coverage of this year's Super Bowl on February 1.

AceShowbiz - Super Bowl XLIX will be available for everyone who has access to Internet everywhere. NBCUniversal is offering an 11-hour free digital video stream of live coverage of this year's biggest football event.

NBC's Super Stream Sunday event kicks off at 12 P.M. ET on February 1. It will include pregame coverage, the game which pits the Seattle Seahawks against the New England Patriots in Arizona, the halftime show headlined by Katy Perry, and conclude with the airing of a new episode of "The Blacklist" at 10 P.M. ET.

The Peacock launches the free stream to promote its TV Everywhere campaign. "We are leveraging the massive digital reach of the Super Bowl to help raise overall awareness of TV Everywhere by allowing consumers to explore our vast TVE offering with this special one-day-only access," says Alison Moore, g.m. and exec VP of TV Everywhere for NBCU.

The NBC Super Stream Sunday will only be available via desktop computers and tablets since Verizon Wireless has the rights to live stream the event on smartphones. NBC was the first to live stream a Super Bowl in 2012, but this will be the first time the network live streams the halftime show.
