Prince reunites with 3RDEYEGIRL for the music video for their "Marz". Debuted online on Monday, January 19, the '70s-inspired clip is made up of blurry, trippy footage of the iconic singer unleashing his inner rock star as he performs the song live on the stage while being backed by the three girls of his band.
"Marz" was one of the songs Prince performed with 3RDEYEGIRL during his history-making 8-minute appearance on "Saturday Night Live" back in November. The track is featured on their collaborative full-length "PLECTRUMELECTRUM" which was released in September last year and later peaked at No. 8 on Billboard 200.
On the same day "PLECTRUMELECTRUM" arrived, the "Purple Rain" hitmaker also put out his solo set "ART OFFICIAL AGE". Marking his first album to be released under Warner Bros. Records since 1995's "The Gold Experience", the project landed at No. 5 on the same albums chart in its first week.
