Chris Brown plans to axe some of his future shows after five people were shot during his recent live gig in San Jose. A source close to Breezy told TMZ that he held an emergency meeting after the incident and ordered his manager to cancel his upcoming appearances at clubs with a history of violence or security issues.
The source explained that the R&B superstar made the decision because he doesn't want to be associated with shootings. Additionally, he wants to protect his image, himself and his fans.
The San Jose incident took place on early Sunday morning, January 11 at the city's Fiesta club. Brown was performing when the assault happened.
That was not the first time someone has got injured at a concert or party featuring Brown. Last year, rapper Suge Knight was shot six times at a party hosted by the "Loyal" hitmaker at 1 Oak in West Hollywood.
