Blake Lively has welcomed her first child with her husband Ryan Reynolds, Page Six reports. According to the site, the star of "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" gave birth to her baby near her house in Bedford, New York just before the New Year.

Although the baby arrived earlier than expected, the mother and the baby are reportedly healthy and doing well. A source tells Us Weekly, "The baby came early but everyone is happy and healthy. The Bedford house is all prepared. They're going to stay up there for the baby's first days."

Blake announced her pregnancy in early October 2014 via her lifestyle website Preserve. At that time, she showed off her growing baby bump by posting a photo shot by her brother Eric Lively.

The "Green Lantern" actress said pregnancy was a dream come true for her. "It's something that I've always wanted ever since I was a little girl," she told Us Weekly at the God's Love We Deliver, Golden Heart Awards. "I knew I wanted to have a lot of kids because I had come from a big family so it was always important to me. So it's just the excitement of that finally being here."

Blake got married to Ryan on September 9, 2012 in a secret ceremony at Boone Hall in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
