The rapper and his fiancee Tricia Davis confirm the pregnancy news by sharing a video of their visit to doctor for sonogram.

It's official, a baby is on the way for Macklemore. The 31-year-old hip-hop star confirms rumor that his girlfriend of nine years, Tricia Davis, is pregnant. It will be their first child together after they got engaged in January 2013.
The couple announces the news through a video that shows their visit to doctor. It opens with a message, "Today the media speculated about some big news in our life. So we decided to share it with you ourselves. Love, Ben and Tricia."
The baby is due in May. Aside from expecting a baby, the rapper whose real name is Ben Haggerty is gearing up for a new album in 2015.
"My fiancee was with me when we were printing up 20 shirts at a time to sell at a show with 15 people there," he said of his fiancee to Ellen DeGeneres after 2014 Grammy Awards. "She's been with us every step of the way. She produces our videos, she's our tour manager, she's been there from the beginning. When we won Best New Artist she kind of broke down into tears and I was like, all right, we are definitely being watched by 30 million people right now."
