AceShowbiz - "Game of Thrones" season 5 isn't coming until spring, but HBO has apparently prepared something special to tide fans over the show's return. The premium cable channel has planned "Game of Thrones: A Day in the Life" special for Sunday, February 8 at 7:30 P.M. ET.
A fan who first spotted the addition of the special to HBO's programming schedule notified Winteriscoming.net, but the network has not officially announced it. Details of the special are not available yet.
Earlier this year, HBO aired a behind-the-scenes special ahead of "Game of Thrones" season 4 premiere in April. Featuring interviews with the cast, the special titled "Ice and Fire: A Foreshadowing" teased what's coming in the new season.
"Thrones" season 5 will include new faces such as original character Malko (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) and Doran Martell Alexander Siddig. Meanwhile, Bran Stark won't be featured in season 5 because his storyline has reached as far as the character has progressed in George R.R. Martin's novels.
