The highly-anticipated teaser trailer for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" has arrived for viewing pleasure. It offers a tantalizing glimpse at Millennium Falcon, Stormtrooper, a cute droid, and a dark hooded figure wielding a new T-shaped lightsaber.
The video also shows a panicked John Boyega, Daisy Ridley riding a speeder bike, and Oscar Isaac as an X-wing fighter pilot. "There's been an awakening. Have you felt it?" Andy Serkis says in a voiceover. "The dark side, and the light."
Directed by J.J. Abrams, the seventh installment of the "Star Wars" movie franchise will hit theaters on December 18, 2015. Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher are back as Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, and Princess Leia respectively. They are joined by Lupita Nyong'o, Domhnall Gleeson, Adam Driver, and more.
