The 'Sons of Anarchy' alum will play Luther Braxton, a meticulous thief, in a February 1 episode of the hit NBC drama.

AceShowbiz - Ron Perlman is going to face off against James Spader's Red Reddington on "The Blacklist". The Clarence "Clay" Morrow of "Sons of Anarchy" has landed a guest-starring role in a Super Bowl episode of the hit NBC series.

TV Guide which first reported the news said that the 64-year-old actor would portray Luther Braxton, "a meticulous thief who plans his international heists over the course of several months or years. The ruthless baddie creates great diversions and chaos to get what he wants - that is, until he faces off with Red Reddington."

"The Blacklist" aired its latest episode on November 10 and goes on a hiatus until it returns February 1, after the Super Bowl XLIX.

Perlman starred on FX's "Sons of Anarchy" since the first season until his character was killed off in season 6 which aired last year. The lead actor of the original "Beauty and the Beast" series now headlines Amazon's original drama series "Hand of God", on which he portrays a morally-corrupt judge, Pernell Harris.
