Taylor Swift has debuted the music video of her newest single "Blank Space". The 24-year-old singer rush-released the clip, which was originally planned for Tuesday, November 11, following a leak on Yahoo! Music on Monday morning.
In the awesome video, Swift plays a girlfriend who seemingly lives a perfect life. The first minutes of the clip show her and her hunky boyfriend, played by model Sean O'Pry, happily walking around the mansion, riding white horses, dancing and having a meal.
After realizing the guy isn't her Mr. Right, she goes insane. She drops his phone into the fountain, slices up his picture with a knife, cuts up and burns his shirts and destroys his car with a golf club.
"Blank Space" is the second single off the superstar's "1989" album, which last week opened at No. 1 on Billboard 200 with nearly 1.3 million copies sold. The video was directed by Joseph Kahn. After the video was accidentally posted on Yahoo!, the director asked fans to wait until the official version came out. "Yup. Yahoo (messed) up. Wait to see the Blank Space video. Let Taylor introduce it herself. It'll be worth it," he tweeted.
