Jay Leno stole the show when he returned to "The Tonight Show" Friday night, November 7 as a guest. The funnyman roasted his successor Jimmy Fallon, nine months after stepping down as a host on the NBC late-night talk show.

Leno did a stand-up routine before taking a seat opposite Fallon for the interview segment. During the monologue, he took on NFL, Apple watch, and Justin Bieber among other pop cultures.

The comedian who is expected to host a motor-themed show on MSNBC next year deflected Fallon's question about how he was doing. Instead, he delivered comedic jabs at the comic who took over his place on the "Tonight Show".

Leno recalled the one time when Fallon asked his advice on buying a vintage car. He jokingly said that Fallon shouldn't buy any classic vehicle if he didn't know how to fix it. "Look at these hands ladies and gentlemen. That's like a puppy's paw," he cracked while holding up Fallon's hand. "This is the hand of a five-year-old, and it's actually pink!"

Leno also revealed that Fallon promised to pay for his expenses if he agreed to return to the "Tonight Show". He then pulled out receipts for Cat Fancy magazine, a slice of pizza, and three pay-per-view porn movies he watched in his hotel room.

Leno continued to tease Fallon when they were joined by another guest Lucy Liu. When Fallon said he was not familiar with her show "Elementary" because he only watched NBC, Leno quipped, "Well you have reason to be loyal."

Jay Leno will next visit "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" on the final episode December 19.
