Jonathan Nolan says he and his brother are not among the team behind the DC movie universe although they were involved in the previous adaptations.

Christopher Nolan stuck around and helped produce "Man of Steel" after "The Dark Knight" trilogy, but he has nothing to do with Warner Bros.' launch of the upcoming DC movie universe although it's connected with the Superman reboot. This was confirmed by his brother Jonathan Nolan who helped write the "Dark Knight" and "The Dark Knight Rises".

"I love those guys and my brother was involved in Man of Steel with Zack [Snyder] and David [Goyer]. I kind of feel like that chapter for us is closed," Jonathan explained to Coming Soon. He, however, didn't completely close the door to possibly revising the franchise, "To be continued somewhere farther down the line? ... Maybe."

The next DC movie is "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" due March 25, 2016. "Suicide Squad" is expected to follow later in the same year, "Justice League Part One" in 2017, "The Flash" in 2018, "Aquaman" in 2018, "Shazam" & "Justice League Part Two" in 2019, and "Cyborg" & "Green Lantern (2020)" in the following year.
