Conan O'Brien ignited a hilarious Twitter feud with Madeleine Albright on Thursday, October 23. Madeleine dissed the comedian after he joked that he planned to dress up as a racy version of her for Halloween.
Conan firstly tweeted, "I picked out my Halloween costume. I'm going as 'Slutty Madeleine Albright,' " to which Madeleine responded, "I'm considering going as hunky Conan O'Brien - but that might be too far fetched."
The TBS late-night host replied, "YES - My first twitter war with a former Secretary of State! You're next, George P. Shultz!" Madeleine then posted a quip which made Conan realize he's dealing with a social media master, saying, "Never get into a word war with a diplomat. We talk even more than comedians."
Conan wrote, "Damn - Whenever I go toe to toe with @Madeleine Albright, she always wins." The former U.S. secretary of state finally tweeted, "Ha, you're certainly not the first to make that mistake... But all in good fun! #TeamCoco."
