The comic duo will do a joint feature film project for the first time in a comedy about kidnapped feline.

Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peel will reunite in a New Line Cinema film about stolen cat. The comic duo, who got famous for their Comedy Central series "Key & Peele", will share the big screen for the first time in "Keanu".
The film follow friends who pretend as drug dealers to infiltrate the criminal underworld in order to rescue a kidnapped cat. Peele wrote the script with "Community" and "Key & Peele" scribe Alex Rubens. Peter Atencio who directed the duo's show is in talks to direct the film. Key and Peele act as producers on the film which production is scheduled to start in spring 2015.
Key and Peele had been starring in separate feature films in recent years. Key provided voice in "The Lego Movie" and appeared in "Let's Be Cops" while Peele starred in "Little Fockers" and "Wanderlust".
The duo is also up for other potential film projects including a "Police Academy" reboot, an adaptation of one of their most beloved characters and an untitled Judd Apatow movie.
