In addition to paying restitution, the reality star was sentenced to 15 months in jail while her husband Joe got 41 months for the fraud charges.

AceShowbiz - Teresa Giudice has paid $200,000 in restitution following her fraud sentencing earlier this month. The money would go toward the $414,588 which the star of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" and her husband were ordered to pay, the U.S. Attorney's Office told ABC News.

According to a statement from Teresa's attorney, $150,000 of the amount was obtained from a contract advance while the rest was a loan from a friend. Her husband Joe Giudice, however, has not paid his half.

In addition to paying restitution, Teresa and Joe were sentenced to jail for fraud charges on October 2. She will start her 15-month term in January while Joe will serve his 41-month term later and he probably will also be deported.

"I wish I could do everything differently. But then again, maybe not, because this is a life lesson that I need to learn and will learn, and will teach my children for the rest of my life, just as Judge Salas told me she expected me to do," Teresa told Us Magazine a week after the sentencing.

On Wednesday, Joe is expected to appear in court in Paterson, N.J. after he was charged with presenting his brother's marriage and birth certificates to obtain a driver's license in 2010.
