AceShowbiz - Actress Misty Upham, who is known for her roles in "August: Osage County", "Frozen River" and "Jimmy P." among others, is missing. Her family said that Misty was last seen leaving her sister's apartment in Muckleshoot, Washington on October 5. Auburn, Wash., Police Commander Steve Stocker told Reuters that they received a report of an apparent suicide attempt that day, but Misty had gone when they arrived.

"Misty is considered an endangered missing person due to a medical condition," his father Charles Upham said in a statement to Indian Country Today. He also told THR that his daughter "wasn't in her right mind" before she went missing.

"She had recently changed her medication, so she was sort of having erratic behavior," Charles explained. "She told me and her mom that we didn't have to worry about her any more. ... I thought it sounded suicidal myself, so I called the police. She's always been a suicidal person. She used to make [suicide] threats sometimes, but she never went through with it."

"I think that she is either in a place where she cant' get help - maybe she fell down and broke her leg and something, or she got in with the wrong crowd," Misty's father added. "I don't think she would have taken her own life. I don't want to think she is dead."
