Samy Bouzaglo, co-owner of Amy's Baking Company who appeared on "Kitchen Nightmares", was involved in an angry confrontation with a patron at his restaurant in Scottsdale, Ariz. over the weekend. During the incident on Saturday, September 27, Samy apparently held what appeared to be a knife and chased the customer.
In a video obtained by TMZ, Samy can be seen wielding the knife outside the restaurant while Amy Bouzaglo tried to prevent him from getting close to the customer. "Think about what you're doing," said a man who took the video. Amy who co-owns the restaurant, however, told The Hollywood Reporter that it was not a knife, but a silver pen.
Amy explained that the incident started because the customer was drunk and used obscenities at Samy who eventually "screamed at him to leave." The customer then "came back and charged me."
Scottsdale police Officer David Pubins told CBS5 that police responded to a report of disturbance at the eatery at around 5 P.M. The man had already gone when they arrived and no arrest was made following the incident.
