AceShowbiz - A comic book based on Liza Minnelli's life has been released. Created by Bluewater Productions, the comic book titled "Female Force: Liza Minnelli" features illustrations by Rafael Cordeiro and text by Michael L. Frizell. The comic book, which was released this week in digital version and hard copy, describes Minelli's career in the entertainment industry, covering her experiences at Studio 54 and Oscar-winning role in "Cabaret" among others.

"A biography is a challenge for any artist, because you have to delve into someone else's life, interpret it and bring those memories back through graphical representations. This task is even more challenging when you're speaking about a person as legendary as Liza Minnelli," Cordeiro said in a statement to Huffington Post, adding that working on the comic book was "a unique experience."

"She is a singular talent whose body of work is unmatched in musical theater. Her powerful stage presence and talent are things I hoped to capture while writing the book," Frizell additionally said.

According to publisher Darren G. Davis, the "Female Force" series is created "to showcase the strong women in today's society that have inspired generations and shaped the culture of today." Other female figures whose stories are covered in the series are Angelina Jolie, Hillary Clinton, Barbara Walters and Gloria Steinem.
