The first look at Katniss in "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1" is shared in a poster. The character played by Jennifer Lawrence is only seen from the backside with her bow and cross attached. "I am. I will," is the tagline.
The Katniss Rebel Warrior Teaser Poster was released exclusively in the official mobile application "Our Leader the Mockingjay". The image also debuts her new costume which has winged shoulder pads, indicating her transformation into mockingjay.
The "Mockingjay" book is divided into two parts in the film. In the first one, Katniss Everdeen reluctantly leads the districts of Panem in a rebellion against the tyrannical and corrupt Capitol after previously competing in a deadly televised game.
Francis Lawrence returns to direct and had to alter the script following cast Philip Seymour Hoffman's death in February. "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1" will open in U.S. theaters on November 21 this year.
