The first trailer for "Miss Meadows" has arrived for viewing pleasure, seeing Katie Holmes wielding a gun and taking the law into her own hands. The former "Dawson's Creek" actress plays "a proper elementary school teacher who moonlights as a vigilante."
Beneath the perfect manners and petticoats, Miss Meadows harbors a dark secret. When she's not teaching at the local elementary school or tending to her garden, she rids the community of predators and riff raff. She never looks for trouble, but she certainly never turns away from it either.
Directed and written by Karen Leigh Hopkins, the film is supported by James Badge Dale and Jean Smart. It premiered at Tribeca Film Festival in April and is expected to hit theaters later this year.
