Louis Mandylor, brother of actor Costas Mandylor, allegedly collapsed on the set of his new movie "Daylight's End" on July 22. Louis was sent to local hospital in Tyler, Texas shortly afterwards.

According to TMZ, Louis, who is best known for his character as Nia Vardalos's brother in 2002 movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding", lost his consciousness when he was shooting scenes with a temperature over 90 degrees Fahrenheit.

According to doctors, the "20 Feet Below: The Darkness Descending" actor was diagnosed with heat exhaustion and dehydration which affected his kidneys. An insider said that Louis could suffer kidney failure in the future.

Louis is now expected to fully recover and should be discharged from the hospital on Friday.
