According to a police report, Franklin who was arrested for disorderly conduct on Sunday, July 20 was drinking and partying with some friends prior to the run-in with the law.

As reported by CNN, Franklin was arrested after her friends, football players Da'Quan Bowers and Ricky Sapp, called the police when she got violent and refused "to calm down" at Sapp's house in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina after drinking session. According to the police report, she "became intoxicated, began acting strange, was yelling, slamming doors."

Franklin ran when she heard them calling police and she "was last seen screaming in the neighbor's yard down the street." She later was found "laying in a neighbor's yard." The report mentioned that she showed signs of being intoxicated and she admitted to drinking, but denied using drugs. "The arrestee stated she did not have any where else to go and was planning on sleeping in the woods," the arresting officer wrote.

The 33-year-old singer took to social media following her arrest and seemingly addressed the ordeal in the posts.
