Rick, Carl, Michonne and others who are locked in the train car in the season 4 finale are featured ready to do battle despite being handcuffed.

AceShowbiz - AMC has released the Comic-Con 2014 art for "The Walking Dead" season 5. Hinting at the state of Rick and the gang when the show returns this fall, the poster features the characters who are locked in the train car at Terminus in last season's finale in handcuffs but their poses show that they're ready to fight their captors.

Series creator Robert Kirkman recently told Entertainment Weekly how the new season would start. "In our first episode, it's very much going to focus on the story of Terminus. There's a lot of big revelations that haven't really come out that I think people are gonna be pretty startled by," he promised. "There's a couple other revelations that I think people might've gotten a little bit of a lead on. We'll definitely be defining those in some cool ways and confirming some theories and shooting down others, which is very exciting."

Adding that season 5 would "hit the ground running," he explained, "What I mean by that is that we very quickly deal with the situation that we left them in - this trapped, victim situation where they're kind of at the mercy of the people of Terminus. We really kind of expand the story from there very rapidly, so I think this is going to be a pretty fast-paced season with quite a bit going on."

Confirming Seth Gilliam's casting, Kirkman said there would be more new characters in the upcoming installment. "I think season 5 is going to be our best season yet," he gushed, "I think when people finally see the premiere, they'll see what I'm talking about."

Meanwhile, actor Steven Yeun has addressed rumor that his character will die in this coming season. "Ugh, I mean. Sometimes it's rough, I mean sometimes it's awesome. We will see what happens, yeah," he said without denying nor confirming the report.

"The Walking Dead" returns with the fifth season in October. The show will take over Hall H of San Diego Convention Center during Comic-Con International on Friday, July 25 at 12:20-1:20 P.M.
