AceShowbiz - The first trailer for "Gimme Shelter" has landed online, showing Vanessa Hudgens as a pregnant teen named Apple in a journey to find her first real home. The former "High School Musical" actress is almost unrecognizable in the movie as she rocks some piercing & tattoo and dons unflattering clothes.
The trailer begins with Apple chopping off her hair. She runs away from her abusive mother and tracks down a father she never knew. But she seeks shelter in his mansion only for a short while and flees once again after refusing to get her pregnancy terminated. She almost gets herself killed during her second runaway.
Rosario Dawson plays her mother, and Brendan Fraser stars as her father. Based on a true story, the film will be released in limited theaters in the U.S. on January 24, 2014.
