According to a source, Judd is going to give her relationship with Franchitti another try following her estranged husband's car crash which caused serious injuries.

AceShowbiz - Ashley Judd apparently is going to give her relationship with her estranged husband Dario Franchitti another try. Franchitti, who is a racer, was involved in a severe car crash earlier this year and he suffered from several broken bones and concussion as the results. Following the accident, Judd reportedly had been thinking about rekindling their relationship.

"They are going to give it another try after he recovers," a source told Us Weekly. "His accident made her realize how much she loves him," the source explained.

Judd rushed to Franchitti's side after learning that he had an accident at the Grand Prix of Houston on October 6. Because of the accident, the racer had a broken right ankle as well as two fractured vertebrae and underwent some surgeries to fix them. In addition to Franchitti, thirteen fans and an IndyCar Series official got injured because of flying debris.

"Thank you for the prayers for Dario, I have only clothes on my back & the dogs but that's all that we need & we are on our way. Amazed by the incredible outpouring of care & prayers. Thanks, everyone. Keeping our heads down here & doing what's in front of us to do," the 46-year-old actress said via Twitter the next day.

"Thank you to everyone for all the well wishes. They mean a lot to me. I would also like to send my best to all the fans involved in the accident and hope that everyone is alright," Franchitti tweeted. The Scottish racer left the hospital in a wheelchair with big cast around his right ankle on Thursday, October 17.

The "Missing" actress and the 40-year-old racer announced their split in January after 10 years of marriage. "We have mutually decided to end our marriage. We'll always be family and continue to cherish our relationship based on the special love, integrity, and respect we have always enjoyed," the pair said in a statement.
