"Twilight" star Kristen Stewart stripped down to her underwear as her French co-star Juliette Binoche went fully nude for their lake scene in the upcoming Olivier Assayas-directed film "Sils Maria". The 23-year-old actress and the 49-year-old Oscar-winner braved the cold waters of the lake set amid the Swiss mountains as they shot the risque scene for the feature film due in 2014.

Stewart revealed a black bra and white underwear shorts over a black thong as she waded into the shallow waters. Binoche, meanwhile, appeared to have a better tolerance for the chilly temperature as she swam deeper than her young counterpart, even managing to show a smile on her face as she went into the lake in contrast to Stewart's splashy dip.

Being a box-office Hollywood celebrity and all, Stewart was swarmed by her assistants after the scene, drying her off with large white towels. Before shooting the scene, she lavishly arrived to the location on a bright yellow helicopter wearing a black casual get-up with a blue cap.

In "Sils Maria", Stewart plays an assistant to Bicoche's character, an ageing actress Maria Sanders who becomes fascinated with a younger thespian played by Chloe Moretz. Stewart says about her role opposite Binoche whom she considers "one of the most powerful women I think I've ever seen in film," "It takes two very particular people to have that relationship be functional - one that services the other."
