Miley Cyrus Pokes Fun at Her VMA Performance in 'SNL' Promo

Asked by 'Saturday Night Live' regular Taran Killam about her tongue-sticking gesture, the 'We Can't Stop' singer says it's they way she smells.

AceShowbiz - Expect Miley Cyrus to poke fun at her recent antics when she's hosting the next episode of "Saturday Night Live". At least that's what is hinted by a promo video for her hosting gig, in which the former Disney darling mocks her raunchy MTV Video Music Award performance and her tongue-sticking gesture.

"That VMAs performance, how could you?!" Taran Killam, a regular of the variety series, asks Cyrus. "I know, how could I?!" she admits, before he adds, "I mean, it was too much, the children!" She laments, "And what was I wearing?!" and Killam continues, "And doing!" She adds, "Don't forget about the children!" to which Killam responds, "God, the children!"

In another skit, Killam asks Cyrus why she always sticks her tongue out. "It's how I smell," she explains and then demonstrates how it works. "Are you wearing women's deodorant?" she asks him.

Cyrus will serve as the musical guest in addition to hosting this week's episode of "SNL", which will air October 5 at 11:30 P.M. on NBC.
