Britney Haynes has revealed that her baby daughter Tilly is diagnosed with cancer. The "Big Brother" star, who competed on the show in 2010 and 2012, and her husband Nathan "Ryan" Godwin broke the sad news via Facebook.

"On September 1st, we were among the daily 720 sets of parents to be absolutely devastated with a Childhood Cancer diagnosis," she wrote, as quoted by TMZ. "September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness month. Please take the time to pray for all these children, our sweet baby included. We appreciate each and every one."

Fans, who questioned the validity of the Facebook post, reached out to fellow contestant Dick Donato. Donato replied on September 15, saying that the news was true. "She sent a text out to a bunch of BB people a couple weeks ago," he wrote.

Haynes later took to Twitter to thank fans for their prayers and support. "Thank you for all of the thoughts, wishes, and prayers for my precious girl. She's everything to me. #PrayforTilly," she tweeted on September 15. Haynes also shared a picture of her adorable baby along with the post.

Haynes and Godwin tied the knot last year and welcomed baby Tilly on July 13. The baby was "happy, healthy, and amazing" at 8 pounds, 3 ounces, she announced at that time.
