In a blog posted after the fantasy suit episode aired, Des admits she 'was completely blindsided and heartbroken' by Brooks' departure.

AceShowbiz - Desiree Hartsock didn't see it coming when Brooks Forester dumped her in the latest episode of "The Bachelorette". In a blog posted after the fantasy suite edition, the bridal stylist claims, "My relationship with Brooks was always secure and confident when we were together, but I never knew what was going through his mind when we were apart." She admits, "That should have been a red flag, but sometimes love is blind."

Believing that Brooks wanted "this to work out" like she did, she "was surprised watching the episode and seeing the conversations Brooks had with his mother and sister and with [host] Chris Harrison, expressing his doubts and feelings. He never expressed those concerns with me until it was too late." She opens up, "I was completely blindsided and heartbroken by his exit."

Des says having experienced "a difficult breakup once" didn't make this easier. She reveals that "Brooks's departure really threw me for a loop." She even "seriously considered going home and calling it all quits."

Hinting that she's ready to move on with the two remaining guys, Chris and Drew, she continues sharing, "I had two incredible men still there who did love me and I wanted to see this through."

She adds, "I am relieved now that he was honest about his feelings and that he was brave enough to address them before taking the relationship further. I wish Brooks could have felt more comfortable coming to me sooner but it was better that it happened in Antigua and not down the road."

Whether or not Des will choose between Chris and Drew remains to be seen in "The Bachelorette" season finale that will air next Monday on ABC.
