"The Frozen Ground", a starring vehicle for Nicolas Cage and Vanessa Hudgens, has dropped a special trailer for the U.K. audience. Unlike the previous trailer which focuses more on Cage and Hudgens, the new video puts spotlight on John Cusack' Robert Hansen, the villainous and heartless man that the former stars have to deal with.

Cusack's character in the Scott Walker thriller is actually a real-life serial killer that was sentenced to 461 years in prison as featured in the promo video. Former Disney star Hudgens, meanwhile, plays an erotic dancer who luckily escapes the clutches of the killer, who has gone unnoticed for 13 years.

In the film, Cage tackles a role of Alaskan State Trooper Jack Halcombe who sets out to end the murderous rampage of Hansen. As the bodies of street girls start to pile up in Anchorage, fear strikes a chord with the public. Risking his life, Halcombe goes on a personal manhunt to find the killer before the next body surfaces.

Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson takes part in the production as an actor and a producer. Joining the cast for supporting roles are Radha Mitchell, Dean Norris and Jodi Lyn O'Keefe.

"The Frozen Ground" will be out on July 19 in the U.K. and August 23 in select U.S. theaters.
