"Insidious" isn't done haunting and it unleashes a new terror in the first trailer for its sequel "Insidious Chapter 2". Moving to a new house, the Lambert family thinks they now can live like a normal family, but that doesn't last long.
The family matriarch, Renai, begins seeing a ghostly figure in her house which seemingly wants to take her baby. While they previously had to confront the demons that possessed their son Dalton, now they have to get rid of a poltergeist that posseses the body of the father, Josh.
James Wan returns to direct the follow-up to the 2011 psychological horror film, which was dubbed the most profitable film of the year with a total worldwide cume of $97,009,150. Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne and Ty Simpkins reprise their roles as Josh, Rose and Dalton respectively, joined also by returning cast members Lin Shaye, Barbara Hershey and Angus Sampson.
The sequel will open in theaters across the United States on September 13.
