Eric Bana and Rebecca Hall Defend Alleged Terrorist in First 'Closed Circuit' Trailer

The upcoming crime thriller from director John Crowley also debuts its poster with a premise that reads, 'They see your every move.'

AceShowbiz - "Closed Circuit", the upcoming film from John Crowley, has unleashed its first poster as well as its first trailer. In the grim-toned video, Eric Bana portrays an attorney with a complex situation to handle as he gets down to working on a terrorism case. "There are over half a million closed circuit cameras in London," he says. "And I'm sure there are at least half a dozen watching you right now."

The plot centers on two ex-lovers named Martin Vickers (Bana) and Claudia (Rebecca Hall), who are tasked with defending a man who is alleged to be involved in an apparent truck bomb explosion in the U.K. As they step into a dangerous web of secrets and lies, they will find not only their reputations, but also their lives that are at stake.

The film from The Focus Features and Working Title is also supported by Julia Stiles, Jim Broadbent, Ciaran Hinds, Riz MC and Kenneth Cranham. It is written by Steven Knight of "Eastern Promises" and produced by Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, Chris Clark, the trio behind the film adaptation of John le Carre's "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy".

"Closed Circuit" is scheduled to open in theaters across the United States on August 28.
