Their normal lives turns into a nightmare as the alien starts to harm the couple's children and causes incessant incidents inside their home.

Russell and Hamilton are featured dealing with various supernatural phenomenon in their house including the one in which thousands of birds strangely hit the house as if they are migrating there. The on-screen couple eventually feels desperate with what happens in their home and starts to act irrationally. At the end of the trailer, the alien is shown in a quick glimpse behind Russell's back.

"Dark Skies" is a psychological thriller about a suburban couple whose lives become a nightmare when a terrifying alien presence enters their home each night to prey on their children.
