AceShowbiz - Screen Gems reveals another fresh clip from "Resident Evil: Retribution". Just like the previously-released snippets, the new video offers an action-packed scene involving Alice and her partner Ada Wong. This time around, the two heroines go wild as they fight two gigantic axemen on the city streets.
In the upcoming "Resident Evil" movie, the Umbrella Corporation's deadly T-virus continues to ravage the Earth, transforming the global population into legions of the flesh eating Undead. The human race's last and only hope, Alice, awakens in the heart of Umbrella's most clandestine operations facility and unveils more of her mysterious past as she delves further into the complex.
The fifth installment of the video game-adapted film franchise is slated for a September 14 release in cinemas across the Unite States. Milla Jovovich returns as Alice with Li Bingbing joining her as Ada. Serving behind the lens is Jovovich's husband Paul W.S. Anderson, who also works to pen the script.
Anderson recently opened up that he wanted to finalize the "Resident Evil" film series soon. Hinting at an ending to the popular franchise, he said at this year's San Diego Comic Con, "I really want to bring this to a closure. If we did do another one, I really want to end this story."
