AceShowbiz - LAIKA's stop-motion animated film "ParaNorman" has been premiered in Los Angeles on Sunday, August 5. The special screening event was held at Universal City Walk with the film's voice cast members Anna Kendrick and Leslie Mann stealing the limelight thanks to their simple-but-chic looks.

Kendrick looked fresh in a glossy pink mini dress by Mulberry. Letting her red hair loose, the Jessica Stanley of the "Twilight Saga" film series paired her girlie outfit with Harve Leger strap sandal heels, and Edie Parker clutch. She finished off her pretty look with jewelries by Kwiat.

Mann, on the other hand, looked lovely in a cleavage-boosting orange dress by Monique Lhuillier. Arriving together with husband Judd Apatow and her kids, Mann sported fresh ombre curly hair which was adorned by a simple bobby pin. She paired her tangerine dress with nude-colored Givenchy shoes.

Another voice cast member spotted at the event was Kodi Smit-McPhee who looked stylish in striped pants and a casual white shirt that he paired with a black blazer as well as golden-and-black sneakers. Tucker Albrizzi, Jodelle Ferland and Tempestt Bledsoe were also seen hitting the green carpet.

"ParaNorman" centers on McPhee's titular character, a misunderstood boy who is able to speak with the dead. As his small town comes under siege by zombies, the boy becomes the only one who could stop the rage.

In addition to the zombies, this young ghoul whisperer will have to take on ghosts, witches and, worst of all, moronic grown-ups, to save his town from a centuries-old curse, but he may find his paranormal activities pushed to their otherworldly limits.

The horror comedy movie is set to arrive in theaters across the U.S. on August 17.
