AceShowbiz - Hilary Duff is slapped with a lawsuit over 2010 car accident. The new mom is accused of crashing her Range Rover into another car driven by Rachel Owens. The victim claims she suffered serious injuries in the accident.
Owens filed her complaint against the wife of Mike Comrie in L.A. County Superior Court. She stated the "Lizzie McGuire" star caused her to get "hurt and injured in her health, strength and activity, sustaining injury to her nervous system."
The injuries allegedly prevented Owens from finishing her job requirements. Seeking unspecified damages, the plaintiff additionally claimed that they "prevented from attending her usual occupation for a period of time in the future."
The 24-year-old actress, who gave birth to her first child Luca Cruz Comrie last March, hasn't commented on the matter.
