Things are heating up between Elena and Stefan, but romance is obviously far from their mind. A preview for the next Thursday, March 29 episode of "The Vampire Diaries" has just been released, unveiling a clash between the two. When Elena tells him that he is acting in anger, Stefan tells her in heated return that anger gets things done.
In "The Murder of One", Stefan and Damon focus on a new project that will bring them closer to destroying Klaus, and they quickly bring Elena, Caroline and Matt in on the plan. Stefan's emotional turmoil, however, leads him to a dangerous confrontation with Klaus and, later, to a heartbreaking moment with Elena.
Bonnie, on the other hand, has no choice but to work on the spell Klaus needs after he threatens someone close to her. In the meantime, Klaus and Rebekah find the perfect motivator to convince Finn to cooperate with them, but Rebekah is more interested in her own brutal plan to take revenge on Damon.
Speaking of the episode, Caroline depicter Candice Accola told The Hollywood Reporter, "The ultimate plan is to take down Klaus. There's a huge, huge turning point for the show that happens within that episode." She added, "It's very important, if you're going to miss any episode don't miss that one. It has very important information. No hints, no hints, it's that game-changing."
