Words have been running wild that Whitney Houston's only daughter with Bobby Brown wants to disassociate herself from her father. Around a month after the "It's Not Right but It's Okay" singer passed away, TMZ brought out a claim that Bobbi Kristina plans to drop Brown from her last name.
Accordingly, Bobbi has been considering the name change for years. She reportedly pushed to change her name for the first time when her parents separated back in 2006. However, she didn't get approval from her mother. Now that the pop diva is no longer around, the 19-year-old is more determined to be known as simply "Kristina Houston".
Houston passed away on February 11 after she was found underwater and unconscious in bathtub of the Beverly Hills hotel. Her will had been read on March 7 and uncovered that she gave all of her money, furniture, clothing, personal effects, jewelry, and cars to Bobbi Kristina, who was rumored to have a romantic relationship with Houston's unofficial adopted son, Nicholas Gordon.
