Tim Tebow is not going to search for his soul mate on "The Bachelor". Responding to the reports that he has been wanted to star in the next season of the ABC dating show, the NFL player tweeted, "Haha rumors can be crazy! Even though I've watched the show before, I'm definitely not gonna be on the Bachelor. #JessePalmer."
The 24-year-old athlete added the hashtag in reference to Jesse Palmer, the former New York Giants quarterback who appeared in the fifth season of the hit reality series. The Canadian sports commentator picked Jessica Bowlin in the season finale, but he never married her and their relationship lasted only for a few months after the show.
Speculations over Tebow's possible appearance on "The Bachelor" were first sparked by Chris Harrison. The show's host told Access Hollywood that he has approached the Denver Broncos quarterback to be the next "Bachelor", but doubted that he would eventually sign up for the show.
"Well, they always say yes, but it never happens. He's a really good guy," Chris explained Tebow's response to the offer he made. "He did say yes... but he would never do it. He has a little job called quarterback at least for another year."
