A brand new trailer for forthcoming sci-fi film, "Chronicle", has been unleashed. A courtesy of Trailer Addict, the snippet which is titled "The Thing" sees a scene where Alex Russell's Matt and Michael B. Jordan's Steve show Dane De Haan's Andrew that they've found a mysterious cavern that seems to be the source of their frightening super power.
Matt, Steve and Andrew are three teenagers who live in Portland. They become exposed to a mysterious substance in the woods, and, as a result, begin to develop incredible telekinesis, flight, and invulnerability powers. The three work together to hone their sills for run, until personal and family problems begin to turn them against one another.
Directed by Josh Trank, "Chronicle" is presented in a found-footage format. Ashley Hinshaw and Michael Kelly also support the movie which has Max Landis penning the script. 20th Century Fox has scheduled to release the film in theaters across the U.S. on February 3.
