Justin Bieber's "Home for the Holiday" concert in his hometown of Toronto, Canada was full of surprises. The 17-year-old singer delighted his devotees when he treated them to a brand new song he's currently working on. Then, he drew a few choruses of "awwwww" from the crowd when bringing his little sister, Jazmyn, on stage and making a little duet with her.
"You might hear this on my next album, you might not, but it's a song I'm working on. I still haven't really finished it," Bieber said before showcasing the new track in an acoustic set. "Basically, the concept is: Even though when times get hard with your girlfriend or boyfriend, when times get hard, you gotta just let them know that in the end, everything's gonna be alright."
"Across the ocean, Across the sea/ Starting to forget the way you look at me now/ Over the ocean and across the sky/ Starting to forget the way you look in my eyes," he kicks in the sweet love song. "All alone in my room/ Waiting for your phone call to come soon/ And for you I would walk a thousand miles to be in your arms/ Holding my heart."
In the set which featured his adorable 3-year-old sister, Bieber opted for his more popular song "Baby" so his sibling could sing along with him. In addition to making a duet, the teen heartthrob also shared some sweet banter, and exchanged a few hugs, kisses and "I love yous" with the little girl before sending her off the stage.
The special concert aired Thursday night, December 22 on MuchMusic and CTV. It was taped in advance from a secret Toronto location to avoid a stampede of Beliebers. Proceeds from the festive event are going to be donated to his Believe Charity Drive which "directly benefits charities that are making a difference in the world."
