Lindsay Lohan's life story will be chronicled in a book by the person who knows her most, Dina Lohan. The actress' mom is planning to expose her daughter's dark years including the time she was fueled by drugs and alcohol.
In the memoir's prologue draft, Dina wrote, "I blamed her friends, her career and her handlers for an (sic) newfound lifestyle of partying excessively. Drinking, drugging and behaving irresponsibly became Lindsay's way of daily living-and it tore me up inside."
The book is being shopped around town as recently as two weeks ago, TMZ said, but no publisher has picked it up yet. Dina and her rep were arranging meetings via e-mail, brainstorming about how it would be made a "best seller". A ghost writer allegedly sat down with Dina and her rep and wrote the prologue afterwards.
Further in the draft, Dina explained why she let Lindsay move to Los Angeles. "How could I deny my daughter the chance of a lifetime? How could I hold Lindsay back from her dream of becoming an actress? So, I listened to others and sent my daughter to Hollywood with a few pieces of luggage and a chaperone," Dina wrote.
Dina claimed she was helpless when Lindsay began spiraling down, adding she was also conflicted when acting as both her manager and parent.
