Rihanna is going to release her brand new single very soon. In anticipation of the song, the Bajan songstress unveils its cover art and lyrics on her official Facebook page. "I'm EXCITED,NERVOUS,ANXIOUS! I cud throw up," she wrote on Twitter.
For the artwork, Riri ditches colorful shots for a black-and-white image which seems to lean more into her 2009's "Rated R" than 2010's "Loud". Instead of continuing to channel her inner feminine redhead, she switches to a tomboy-looking chick.
Soon after the picture was unleashed, Riri posted the single's official lyrics, much to her devotees' delight. "Yellow diamonds in the light/ And we're standing side by side/ As your shadow crosses mine/ What it takes to come alive," some of the lyrics read.
When people thought they had to wait another day for another treat, her team wrote, "We aren't done yet, Navy!" and then gave a challenge to "unlock the sound." Adding frenzy to the anticipation, Calvin Harris who produces the song tweeted, "I can tell u she sounds like an #angel !"
