Ben Flajnik to Make Debut as New 'Bachelor' on 'Bachelor Pad'

ABC has confirmed that the 28-year-old winemaker will make his first official appearance under the new title in the season 2 finale of the spin-off show next Monday, September 12.

AceShowbiz - Ben Flajnik has officially been named the new "Bachelor". On Tuesday, September 6, ABC finally confirmed reports that "The Bachelorette" season 7 runner-up will star on the sixteenth installment of "The Bachelor" to find love on the reality show, followed with a tweet from the 28-year-old himself, "Secret is out. Looking forward to my new journey as the new bachelor."

According to the press release, "the woman who will share his [Ben's] life will also have to share one of his other great loves: his Jack Russell Terrier, Scotch." The winemaker from Sonoma, California will make his first official appearance under the new title on the season 2 finale of "Bachelor Pad", which will last for three hours, next Monday, September 12.

The new round of "Bachelor" itself will premiere in January 2012. In last season, Brad Womack was given a second shot at love after rejecting all women in the eleventh season of the reality show.
