Selma Blair has made her first red carpet appearance since giving birth to her first child last July. The "My Mom's New Boyfriend" leading lady looked beautiful in a red Lanvin Fall 2011 gown when attending the screening of her new movie "Dark Horse" on the fifth day of the 68th annual Venice Film Festival.
The "Cruel Intentions" actress opted for tear-drop diamond earrings and wore her hair in a neat bun to complete her elegance look. She was all smiles when posing solo and alongside co-star Jordan Gelber and director Todd Solondz. Both men chose to suit up for the Monday (September 5) occasion.
Earlier in the day, Blair showed off her svelte post-pregnancy curve when coming to Palazzo del Cinema for the photocall of the movie starring Justin Bartha on the lead. She slipped into a figure-hugging knee-length dress by Roland Mouret Wemmick and let her dark hair down.
"Dark Horse" follows a 30-something guy who lives with his parents, works for his father, and collects toys. He then tries to romance Miranda and propose to her. Out of desperation after her literary/academic career crashed, she reluctantly agrees to tie the knot with him. Unfortunately for them, everything goes horribly wrong from there.
The movie hasn't got any release date.
