AceShowbiz - The first full trailer for "Conan the Barbarian" has been released . While the first teaser trailer only gave short glimpses of the characters, the new video, obtained via Yahoo! Movies, gives a better look at Jason Momoa as the titular character, and Rose McGowan as Marique. They are engaged in a fight with down-and-dirty atmosphere as well as mystical situation of the ancient setting.
Venturing to a world for a quest to avenge the murder of his father, Conan realizes he is the only hope to save the great nations of Hyboria from an encroaching reign of supernatural evil. When he tracks down Stephen Lang's Khalar Zym, Conan fights against horrific monsters and impossible odds.
In the forthcoming movie, Rachel Nichols takes the female lead role of Tamara, while Ron Perlman stars as Conan's father Corin. Leo Howard, Bob Sapp, and Said Taghmaoui additionally support the action film, with Marcus Nispel directing. The movie will hit theaters across the nation on August 19.
