"The Borgias" are gearing up for Lucrezia's wedding in its upcoming episode. The soon-to-bride has a kiss practice with Giulia Farnese to prepare the big day, but she is not happy with the fact that her mother will not attend the nuptials.
Lucrezia's financially and politically motivated wedding to Milanese nobleman Giovanni Sforza is a disaster thanks to Juan's inappropriately bawdy play in his sister's honor, Cesare's brazen flirting with a married baroness, and the arrival of the Borgia children's illegitimate mother. Meanwhile, Della Rovere seeks the aid of the illustrious Medici family and their counselor, Machiavelli.
"Lucrezia's Wedding" will air April 17 on Showtime. The historical drama was premiered on April 3 with the airing of the first two episodes. Jeremy Irons, Francois Arnaud, Holliday Grainger and Lotte Verbeek are among the cast ensemble.
